Privacy Policy

This policy applies to both domains we operate: noobkit.cc and kit.noob.tw. The service is referred to as “Noobkit” (also branded as “怒伯工具箱” and “ヌーブキット”).

Who we are

Noobkit provides browser-based developer tools. We design the tools to run in your browser and avoid collecting personal data unless needed for security, analytics, or advertising.

Information we process

  • Usage data: pages and tools visited, basic engagement events (e.g., language changes) for service quality and abuse detection.
  • Device & browser data: standard HTTP request data such as IP address, browser type, OS, and referrer when you access our sites.
  • Cookies & storage: a language preference cookie (`preferred-language`), optional ad cookies from Google AdSense, and localStorage entries for theme and recent tools.
  • Tool inputs: your inputs stay in your browser. We do not send tool content (e.g., text, files, JSON) to our servers unless a specific tool clearly states otherwise.

Advertising

We serve ads through Google AdSense. Google may set cookies or use local storage to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can manage ad personalization via Google Ad Settings or your browser’s privacy controls.

Analytics

We use Umami analytics hosted at analytics.bhis.com.tw to understand aggregate usage. Umami is configured to avoid personally identifying information and to operate without marketing cookies; it receives standard request data (e.g., IP and user agent) to produce aggregated metrics.

Fonts and third-party services

We load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), which may receive your IP address to deliver the font files. Our pages may also load assets from Google AdSense as part of advertising delivery.

Data retention

We retain aggregated analytics and ad measurement data as provided by our vendors. We do not store your tool inputs. Server logs containing IP addresses are retained only as needed for security and troubleshooting and are periodically rotated.

Your choices

  • Use your browser’s controls to clear cookies/local storage or block third-party cookies if desired.
  • Manage Google ad personalization through Google Ad Settings or industry opt-out tools (e.g., NAI/DAA where available).
  • Switch languages or themes without creating an account; your preferences are stored locally.

International data

Our services and third-party providers may process data in regions outside your country. By using the sites, you consent to any necessary cross-border transfers.

Children

Noobkit is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age where your local law requires parental consent (often 13–16), please use the service with a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us to request deletion.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
